During its GDC 2019 Unreal keynote this morning, Epic announced that it has partnered with 2K's Private Division label to distribute The Outer Worlds and Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey on the Epic Games Store. PC Gamer has learned that The Outer Worlds will also release on the Microsoft Store, but will not appear on other stores on PC for at least a year—that includes Steam.

Wow. What the hell is happening. Another one bites the dust.

It’s not just one. Remedy announced Control is exclusively going to Epic.

Detroit: Become Human is finally coming to PC from PS4 as well, and only on Epic.

Epic is actually getting business while Valve is fat and lazy assuming publishers will automatically come to them. They aren’t. I believe there are going to be a lot more of these announcements.

Actually according to The Verge and GameRevolution, the former PS4 exclusive trio (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Become Human) will be a timed exclusive deal with Epic.
