@FreedomEclipse
I already have a Silverstone AP-182 mounted as an intake sidepanel fan. It helps by up to 2°C in the delta-T for the GPU but ends up increasing the delta-T for the CPU.

Relocating the PSU outside of the case will more than double the amount of intake vent area in the floor of the case and will also allow me to install a longer shroud for the delta 127x38mm fan on the heatsink.

Before I relocate the PSU externally I'll try a 140mm fan in the front top of the case and see if that helps with GPU temps.

I can no longer put any fans in the bottom of the case because I have a 127x50mm fan and 50mm of shrouds hanging off my videocard.

I don’t think anyone can help you without a pic or explanation of all the wonky mods you’ve done to your case.

So mounting the PSU in a couple of [optical] drive bays is out?

Interesting idea, that could be done, but then the power cord would have to come out of the front of the PC. It would also block the air inlet to the NH-D15s (which has a 120x38mm fan installed on the front along with 60mm of shrouds/spacers).
I'm going to try mounting the PSU externally on top of the case. I just hope it makes more of a difference than 1-2 degrees celsius.
I'll have to take pics of the ghetto rig later this week.

You're assuming that the difference will be 1 or 2 degrees (celsius I'm guessing). The difference in GPU load temps between cases can be upwards of 10°C -- as gamersnexus reviews bear out:
https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3506-lian-li-o1-dynamic-xl-case-review-benchmarks

And so does overclock3d.net's reviews of cases:
https://www.overclock3d.net/reviews...haf_-_cooler_master_haf_700_evo_case_review/3

I can't get any more front to back airflow in this case, it has a low RPM 200x32mm fan in front that's blocked by the 3.5" HDD cage, the only intake fan I have is the sidefan.

The top, front 140mm fan mount is blocked by the NH-D15s and the shrouded fan I have attached to the front of it. I'd think an intake fan blowing directly up at the videocard would make more difference than an exhaust fan located 6" away.

The top performing cases in terms of GPU delta-T temps at gamersnexus and bit-tech.net and overclock3d.net case reviews all have direct intake airflow at the videocard, that can't be coincidental.

Get some High Static Pressure Fans for the Front and bottom of case, possibly Side panel as well...

the drive bays are deep enough you could run the cord back thru the case to the back, you'll just need a longer extension cord to plug it in.

airflow would have to be creative on this. :D

The front of the case only has a mount for the typical non-standard 200mm fan, it does a good job keeping my HDD's cool though.

I can't mount a bottom fan anymore because I have a 127x50mm fan with a 50mm shroud hanging off my 1080ti right where the fan would be mounted.

The sidepanel fan is a 180x32mm silverstone AP-182. The only way I could beat the perf. of that fan would be to buy an expensive and thick-as-a-brick industrial 180mm fan off digikey or mouser.

It's not like I can't reverse the process of mounting the PSU externally on top of the case.

This idea is now dead. Trying to route the wiring loom from the PSU back into the case is too difficult.

Still can try the drive bays :p

That's what I was trying to do but having a plug of cables going into the front of the case doesn't look too good and any and all filters I use in the drive bays would be unusable. I really underestimated just how bulky the wiring loom really is.:(
Putting the PSU in the drive bays would actually work better but even then all airflow to the NH-D15s would still get blocked off.
I wish Lian Li still manufactured their ATX PSU extender, then again that might be a part that only works with Lian Li cases.

I like that case, it looks like a prop from a low budget sci-fi movie or series.
