I paired my 5600x cpu, b550 mag bazooka mobo. With the infamous Corsair ram kits rated at 3600 mhz CL16, that isnt even on my mobo's QVL list.
I had inconsistent framerates and microstutters in games since i built this system also small freezes and stutters here and there on idle. Although with each new releases of bios updates problem is nearly fully gone it still happens nonetheless.
From my research incompatible Ram sticks, their timings/latency/speed were the culprit but i only tried tweaking the ram speed .
I dropped down from 3600 dram frequency/1800fclk to 3200/1600 and boom, my system is now stable no hiccups, much higher %1 lows. Latencymon results got better aswell.
Now my question is, i never tweaked with timings or latency. What would be the optimal variable to change in such a way to gain the most stability/performance out of this RAM kit ?
Thanks in advance!
