TPU Frontpage changes

- Added a setting to user CP options to limit the number of news posts displayed on the front page (http://forums.techpowerup.com/profile.php?do=editoptions)

please note that this will cut off in the middle of a day.

any additional ideas or suggestions for improvement are welcome

What exactly do you mean it will cut off in the middle of the day? Does that mean the option will only be effective for half the day?

if you set it to 5 posts it will display five posts and you wont know if there were more on this day

If you can set it to a specific number of news posts a day, would it not be possible to add an option to only show todays new posts?

it shows a total number of X posts TOTAL. not per day. maybe we could change it to number of days to show

Ah, but would it be possible to implement something like that? just showing all the posts for a single day instead of just X number total.

It doesn't look cluttered to me at all. Sure there's lots of stuff on it, but it's organized in a very professional-looking, clear-cut way.
