tweak a bit

Hello,

Im new to this tweaking and modding scene and wonder if someone can help me finding out what I can do with my ASUS 6800 nv41 p260n11. Tried to open pipes with RivaTuner but didnt manage to get it working, couldnt even manage to boot the comp. Perhaps a bios upgrade is possible?

i would´nt bother, the bios flash is usualy done when you allready verified with the softmod that the pipelines work,
you also flash when the softmod dosnt work, but thats usualy when you apply the softmod and the card dosnt unlock the extra pipes and acts as if nothing has happened, in your case, running 12 pipelines, but from your description, pipelines 13-16 were unlocked but the card failed to function becuase the pipelines are damaged,

flashing will produce the same effect but it wont be as easy to recuperate as from the softmod (you will need to boot from a old PCI video card and then reflash your 6800 to get it working again),

dont make any further attempts at modding your card, its clear that pipelines 13-16 are non operational. go for clock insted

Ok, thanx for your help. Downloaded Coolbits and clocked it, 4860 points in 3Dmark so im pleased with that.
