Upgrade my CPU

I have an Asus MB Prime B450-Plus. would like to install a AMD 5600x Cpu, replacing my Ryzen 5 2600. Is the upgrade possible?

Yep. just update the BIOS before you do. Its much easier that way. BIOS 2409 is when Ryzen 5000 series support starts.

Great. Updated my bios a bit ago, it is at 3802. Thanks for the quick reply.
