Hello guys, new here!
So I have a Cyberpower pc that I bought a while back and decided to upgrade it here and there as I go.. its a gma4000bst from bestbuy.. I believe it has a B450 ASROCK Motherboard. Recently I put in a Ryzen 5 3600(original-AMD Ryzen 3 2300X) and Corsair 16gb 3600MHz(Original- Ballistix 8gb) I notice a huge difference while multi-tasking! Now I want to get a new GPU, it currently has an AMD Radeon RX 570 4gb. Whith the motherboard what would you guys recommend? I do want to stick with radeon as I do have a freesync monitor.. Thanks!

Since NVidia finally quit blocking VESA standard adaptive sync (aka AMD's FreeSync) in their drivers in 2019, you can get variable refresh rate using a FreeSync monitor's DisplayPort input and a GeForce GTX 10xx or newer card. You'll probably have to go into your NVidia settings to turn on "G-Sync Compatible", but it works fine, and you don't have to buy an expensive proprietary G-Sync monitor.

Unfortunately, while wonderful new graphics cards have been released by both AMD and NVidia in the past five months, they are still in short supply. What the #!$# miners aren't hoarding, the #!$# scalpers are buying up and re-selling on e-bay for huge mark-ups. I was able to buy a new graphics card direct from EVGA after six weeks of waiting on their notification list.

Putting aside the GPU shortage for the moment, we need to know something about your monitor, your intended uses and your budget to know which graphics cards are suitable. What is the resolution and maximum refresh rate of your existing monitor? What sorts of games do you like to play? How much are you willing to spend on a new graphics processor?

Because new graphics cards (especially the GeForce RTX3080 and RTX3090) are very power-hungry, you may need to upgrade your power supply, as well. What is your existing PSU?
