I recently bought a USB-C cable to Display Port and noticed a strange delay on my reference 6900XT haveing to disconnect and reconnect the cable after a cold reboot when power from the wall had been turned off

I am using this cable

In the USB - C slot driving my 3 monitor Eyefinity Setup

Any one else with 6900 XT cards seeing the same lack of detection after a cold reboot?

If I wait like 10 minutes after turning power on at the wall, it seems to fix the problem.

I bought the cable to see if using 3x Displayport would allow Eyefinit and HDR - it does not :-(

Btw powering the monitors off in windows dosent detect the USB-C connected monitor and didnt find a nother easy way to detect the 3 monitor except for pulling the cable out and in again

Hmm passive adapter might be the problem

I was wondering why theres not a way to auto detect in windows / driver

Btw I am using my setup for work as well, where two monitors are connected to a docking station - turning my desktop on when using the docking station gives the same lack of detection

Get a gpu-z screenshot please and then attempt to upload the bios to the VGA Bios Collection/Database through gpu-z itself, you should get a prompt that the file is already in the database with a link or the bios should complete with upload and show a link, post that link here.

Dont put the files in the forum.

Remove the docking station and hook in directly?

Do you think its a bios version problem - it works fine when detected so I am not that keen on flashing the card with another bios - but here is a screenshot

Its a Asus reference board

Btw I have just found out that Eyefinity and HDR is possible in Division 2
Tom Clancy's The Division® 22022-5-8-18-7-42.jpg

The monitors show HDR on when gameing

Ok so are 2 monitors hooked up to 2 DP and 1 to USB C?

Also I looked up your bios and AMD has released nothing newer bios version wise for the Reference cards.

Yes and my dock is using the HDMI inputs on the monitors - unfortunately my dock is a older version - so can only use the two monitors :-) but thats fine - at work I only have 2 23" inch so it stil better - but the view at work does win

And the canteen arrangement is better - gues I wouldnt be there at all if it wasnt for that :D

I havent found a great solution for it yet
