Using 3x LG 27gl850 I am haveing a strange issue with input via HDMI ports on the monitors with my work setup via a docking station. On several displays I get pixel errors / colour smudge on the windows 10 background. Thinking my monitors might be burning out - if I then switch to my desktop using the Displayport in on the monitors there is no issue?
Isnt the input ports 2xHDMI and Displayport using the same panel? And can there be pixel errors on the input ports?
I am using a old T480 (sigh) for work - could it be its display out via the docking station that causes the pixel errors?
Have used the monitors with the same tree high quality (Clicktronic) cables with 2 other docks and 3 HP machines without any problems
Any clues out there to what can be the cause?
