Valorant won't launch!

Valorant won't launch on my older PC ever since update 7.07 has released, I've tried using different hardware, testing EVRY SINGLE component, updating driver etc... Reinstalling the game didn't work. I also sent a ticket and got 3 different answers.
I haven't done any overclocking, tinkering with the software, hardware or anything like that. The system seems to do pass every single test without overheating.

I kinda found the solution which is to clean install windows 10 THEN install valorant again. (Yes has to be done in the exact order otherwise it won't work). The problem is this only works on the boot that I do this, once the PC is shut down the game won't launch on the next boot.

Specs:
I7 3770
4x4 gb ddr3 1600mhz cl11
XFX RX 470 4GB
Deepcool dn400 400w 80+ bronze power supply

Do you have an antivirus software that might block that game to access some files in My Documents, same for a firewall that might block your game from reaching the internet ?

Nope, I use windows defender.
Actually I think my GPU is faulty but idk

Well the problem is in order for valorant to launch it needs to use at least 1024 mb or a gb worth of ram, this process should take longer than 5 mins.
For me it reaches 80 mb then instantly closes (in like 7 mins).

that is strange, the hardware checks out with the games min/rec system requirements. A fresh install of windows irons out other software/driver possibilities.

Are you able to run other games, similar or heavier titles?

Is your Windows 10 install 32-bit or 64-bit?

Since installing Windows fresh... i understand the game starts booting but fails to load, exactly what happens? Freezes? system crash? any error messages?

If you're able to get to the games setting page, adjust the quality to low and see if it helps. Or lower the resolution in system settings/GPU settings and give that a shot.

Assuming you already have all drivers up-to-date, roll back on the GPU driver and give that a go.

If you have a second machine or a spare PSU sitting around, you might want to replace your current one and see if that helps.

Well I used to run CSGO and overwatch but files would get corrupted after like 4-5 boots.

Windows 10 is 64 bit I've never installed 32 bit.

Nope I can't get into game I even tried 1280x720 and 800x600 but both failed :l.

Yep, drivers are up to date but they are REALLY IRRITATING anything that's older than Rx 6000 series has really irritating and crashing drivers.

I used my main PC's psu which is Corsair rm 650x but still the game fails to load :(.

About file corruption I bought a new SSD SPECIFICALLY for this system (crucial mx500 1tb) and my filed corrupt SOMEHOW after a few boots (4-5).

Have you tried switching out your ram?

I know it sounds silly but ram that is failing or not seated correctly can also cause file corruption.

If you have a spare set of ram or if you can borrow even just one stick of 8gb and run that for a few days and see what happens.

I tried memtest and everything was fine but sure I'll try using different ram.
Keep in mind that my current ram has been running fine for about a year now (Never oced).

Did you test each module individually with memtest? How long did you run the test for?

Memtest is a great tool but its not perfect. It was just a suggestion. The motherboard could also be showing its age aswell. Its happened to a lot of us who have run older machines.

All 4 modules together for 6 hrs
Motherboard might be faulty yes since everytime the PC boots I have to press f1 to bypass "SENSOR 5 FAULT" unfortunately, there doesnt seem to be an option to turn off error messages.

What motherboard is it?

Try an older gpu driver maybe?
I had trouble with amd's drivers in the past where after a certain driver version Halo infinite would fail to load but older drivers worked fine (it was later fixed).

Actually the game used to run without installing drivers

Well that leaves 2 possibilities: Memory or Mobo. I've had similar issues with a ton of dell optiplex systems which were retired from our offices some years ago. Similar specs. Notably board failure is the more common culprit in my experience when transforming these builds into gaming builds for the kids/nephews/etc. But then again these were Dell proprietary boards for light-weight workstations.

Try another SATA cable and port on your motherboard. I only had something like that happen a lot of years ago when i was overclocking my CPU a lot, i had a 3770K back then.

I tried that and got the same result.

Probably a faulty Mobo since even a bios update didn't help + the excessive errors?

Not sure if this may help, but some updates ago Valorant's anti-cheat vanguard requires TPM enabled in the bios.

I thought that was required for windows 11 only?
Anyways the bios is too defunct that it doesn't have an option called tpm.
Oh yea! To add to that TPM 2.0 and Secureboot for those running Win 11.

Have you tried installing Valorant to a different SSD/HDD? (even external one just to test)

More likely, a faulty OS drive. (Whether a faulty SSD or a faulty platter drive)

Also, please use this command at the command prompt/terminal: powercfg -h off

Try this syntax, if the above isn't accepted:

powercfg /H off

The SSD is barely 3 months old I doubt that

After finally getting the PC to boot, valorant failed to launch so after trying the commands you guys mentioned and restated the PC I got different errors like bcd file missing or corrupted etc.

Those damn errors also persisted after trying 2 different USB sticks and a CD drive. So is the PC dead??o_O
