Very low GHz while gaming

I have i5-1035G1 10th gen CPU, and MX230 GPU, my laptop is Dell 5593. When I play games like csgo or valorant my CPU GHz is only 1.1 or even 0.9. My CPU max turbo boost is 3.6 GHz, so where is the problem? I turned on performance power plan, no battery saving. Maybe that because of overheating. Should I change my thermal paste? Please help Me guys!!

me too.I once used the throttlestop to lock the octave to 2ghz, but it failed after restarting.

Changing thermal paste won't help.
Post screenshots of gpu-Z sensor tab open while gaming.
If you have Throttlestop installed, post plenty of screenshots of those too.

Can you hear the fan spinning? Feel it? If not, might be why it is overheating.

My guess is it's hitting it's power limit and power throttling.
The CPU is a cTDP 15W - 25W.

The same thing happened to me, I solved it with throttlestop when deactivating BDPROCHOT and you must verify that you have no power limitation,
if you have limitation you should configure throttlestop

Maybe you can try lowering the voltage, which will lower the CPU temperature and keep the CPU running at a higher speed
How to lower the voltage?Could you please give me some advice, some screenshot attached will be the best

Was gonna say probably not but after reading some reviews that looks like one poorly designed laptop. <1Ghz sounds unlikely to me though, unless the fan is defective.

The MX230 isn't exactly a powerhouse GPU and CSGO/valorant aren't exactly CPU intensive games. It might very well be that the CPU just doesn't need to go any faster to keep up with the MX230.

In ThrottleStop, by clicking the FIVR button, you can see the options about CPU frequency and CPU voltage, which generally lowers the voltage to lower the temperature, allowing the computer to run at a higher frequency.

Because the sunken screen blocks the air outlet when it's turned on, it's a pretty bad design.

Can you tell me how to remove the limitations?I looked up the information. The peak power consumption of mX230 and i5 1035g1 exceeds 65 W of the original power supply. Do I need to change the power supply to unlock the power dissipation wall?

I can share my configuration so that you can get an idea of what I did, but my cpu is fourth generation and yours is probably not working at all or maybe if, you do not lose anything by trying, I leave you some images of the configuration.
I wish you luck :)
About the power supply, you do not need to change anything, the limitation is in the bios.

These are my Settings about Throttlestop, maybe you can adjust them according to my Settings. Hope I can help you.

I need you to send me the default values to have a reference, I will leave some images with the options that you must activate

There are some options that I don't think need to be activated, and my understanding of the APP isn't thorough enough. With respect to long/short MHZ, I think the required power consumption should be filled. I don't quite understand the rest, sorry.:(

Not with those settings, did you pick numbers out of a hat?
Please ask @unclewebb for assistance.

Restore the throttlestop configuration to default and configure what it indicates, investigate and your cpu is similar to mine in terms of tdp but I recommend that you
