Videocard is starts to die... RTX 4060

Hello!

New monitor, I have but with the old one it did it, sometimes when a video comes on, or for example now it goes black like this, is it likely that video card is dying?

As you can see in the video today I move the mouse and it disappears :C

if reseating the card and cables doesn't change anything i'd RMA the GPU imediately.

Do you mean to take the card out and put it back in? Anyway, it was with a Displayport cable, 2 cables were also replaced, so this is the phenomenon.

yes taking the card out of the slot and properly installing it again.
otherwise it looks broken enough to not keep troubleshooting.

lol well as soon as i rebooted the machine the fans started but as soon as i loaded windows the fans stopped... i just noticed this and... wtf??

MSI Afterburner fan speed is: 0 i sett 70%

Reseat the card in the pcie slot make sure it is fully inserted, uninstall drivers using DDU and install latest NVIDIA drivers, have you tried HDMI instead of DP?

MSI Afterburner fan speed is: 0 i sett 70%

it's called idle fan stop and is normal, fan won't turn on until 60c, you don't need it running all of the time....

Looks like a faulty GPU if that is the case just return it and get a replacement

If it possible try in another PC. I see that you are hungarian, you can try the prohardver.hu forum.

(amúgy amilyen oldalakat nézel nem is csodálom hogy tönkrement.

Does this also happen if you try Firefox? Close Brave and Discord (and anything else using Chromium) and see if the issue occurs there. I don't know if NVIDIA/Microsoft have solved the "random blocks/artifacts in Chromium apps" issue yet, but maybe this is related? Worth a shot before you pack it all up for an RMA.

(there's a good long thread on the issue on this forum, but I can't seem to find it right now)

I'll try, but I just took out the video card, so far there has been no such problem.

Can you test your card through HDMI, be it using the same monitor or another one (even a TV)?
