I am currently going through my old storage drives from 2005 to the present. I got lots of old game demos, apps, radeon drivers, and miscellaneous software. Some of it is probably toxic as in Hot Llama media player or Realaudio player. I plan on deleting most of this stuff as it is from the Windows XP days. I got Abit drivers, DFI drivers, MSI drivers, uGuru, AirPace, ect. I got some disc images from some Windows (XP, Vista, 8.0, 8.1 and 10). I should be able to free up a couple of TB of space when I dump this stuff. Is there any value in this for anyone here at TPU? This is for free.

Well, some of the Abit and DFI drivers can be hard to locate for many people. Even some of the old MSI drivers might be of use.

Not sure how they could be preserved from your old hard drives though.

Windows images probably wouldn't be of any use to other members. I'd imagine they are images of your personal Windows which probably wouldn't work for many.

And, of course we have the Nostalgic Thread here:

I have been seriously thinking about setting up an FTP site or web site that includes FTP for storage of old software that's tough for people to find, but just haven't managed to
do it yet. :p

Thanks for your input. I don't even know how to output this stuff. Very nostalgic personal PC mostly forgotten files. The Windows image files are fresh and never installed. I quit building with Z97 Devils Canyon 4790k. Then I went to refurbing AiOne desktops and some laptops. I got some stuff that is hard to find, but now worthless to me and my current setups. My Z97 and 4790k and my RX 580 dual boot system have just been cleaned after a couple of years of neglect and my temps are much better. Just went to Seagate 2TB SSHD's for my games and movies. Just wanted to see if any of this software is relevant in 2022. Thanks for your reply.

Heh... clean er up! I'm the same way... I save everything. I finally started clearing up 100s of gigs of useless data. Saves so much on new storage hds.....

Thanks, that is the forgiveness I was looking for. Make space for the New relevant stuff. Shout to your avatar also!!
