Just wanted to share this with everyone who is interested in learning but more importantly tinkering with a full enterprise level VMWare setup on their homelab on the cheap.
I joined VMUG (VMware Usergroup) about a year ago after acquiring my two Dell Servers. I wanted to experiment with setting up a VMWare Cluster on them, but was afraid to even look at pricing on a personal setup (Citrix XenServer is a free alternative, but I didn't like it for a number of reasons) VMUG actually offers a 365 day license with their VMUG Advantage membership ($200 USD a year). This is how I set up my crunching cluster at home.
