Anyone else having this issue?
Since the newest patch I can't lock the friggen game to one core and its making it impossible to play. :banghead:

why is that making it impossible to play if you cant lock it to one core?

Because it jumps across 4 cores back and forth as soon as a battle comes up and stutters like nuts!

Not sure it has anything to do with cpu affinity. I was playing on a c2d the other day and it was fine

You have half as many cores to jump. Trust me, check my specs its not my system.
I never had an issue with my dual core either.

yeah, same for me, i dont have any stuttering problems at all, and i dont think warcraft 3 was made to support 4 cores, being that it was released june 2002.

Ya, it wasn't made to support 2 cores..
But it really pisses me off that it seems they blocked it *intentionally* within their own code, in turn making the game useless to me.

Found a way around my problem using a separate piece of software.
