Hi there, I am thinking of buying custom watercooling for my pc. I found some stuff on ebay and I would like you to tell me if this set is complete. I don't want to go on pre-made ones because I have heard how crappy they are, and if not crappy then $$$$. Well here it is:

Cpu waterblock

Chipset waterblock

Pump

Reservoir

Radiator

Hose

2 of this hose connectors to go with my radiator

Forget ebay, and some of that stuff is crap. Swiftec, Danger Den, and some others make some good kits. The guy to ask would be D44ve. Those Coolit Eliminators are pretty nice as well.

I thought XSPC was a good brand. Plus i'm extremely low on cash:D so no Coolit Eliminator or Danger Den, or Swiftech. And I can't forget eBay because it is the only online shop I know that can ship internationally. I'm located in Cyprus:banghead:

The water block looks like it is pretty much a Danger Den knock off anyhow, so I would imagine that would be OK.
I really do not know much about the XSPC brand, so I really cannot comment on its quality.... so you are on your own with that one.
The radiator looks like your typical 240mm radiator so I am sure it will do what you need.

The one thing I would change is that pump... the specs are not that good.
The two major things you need to look at when buying a pump is the DELIVERY HEAD and the Flow Rate.
Max Head height means how high it will pump water. Remember that most flow specs are at 0 height.

You can have a pump that flows 4000 lph but if it has a low head height it isn't going to do squat.
Both numbers are just important as the other.

The pump you are looking at is 400lph (not that great, but not horrible) and a head hieght of only 1.65 (not that great either)
I would try to at least find a laing DDC pump.... they really are some of the best.

This isnt the exact pump I was talking about.... but still a very good one.

BTW, what kind of limit do you have....... Dont forget, you dont have to buy everything at once. I know its hard.... but it can be done =)

I am ordering one at a time.
He doesn't ship to Cyprus.

How about these pumps??

Pump1

Pump2

I think the first one is better

The first one hands down.

That was the one I was refering to before.

Get that pump and go from there

Ok thanks:toast:. Anything else I should look before I start buying?

Read up on everything you buy..... Dont buy it because the company says that it is good. Read reviews and ask questions to people who OWN the product.

Like I said before, I have never used that brand.... so I cannot tell you if it is good or not.

Dont be in a rush to buy it. Take you time and research. You post questions here or PM me if you want. I will answer the best that I can along with the others here

Oh, and for the Laing pump d44ve suggested, you want to change your fittings and tubing to 3/8" ID, or get an Alphacool or Petra's top for the pump to use 1/2" tubing.

ok, is 2 meters of Delivery head good? My outside the case system with pump etc will run maybe up to ten feet of hosing?
gph of 360?
