Can i put some glue on the chip to get it right placed? And add some solder to the feet's. I know there is a dot or triangle on the chip that should be to the lower left.

Do you know the specific chip? Just because it has 8 feet doesn’t mean you can put anything with 8 feet on it.

Also lower right is pin 1 on that PCB; for the soic 8 chip anyway.

I need to change the U12 chip to another pcb of the same hard drive. I tried a working pcb to the other hard drive that did not start before and then it worked but the disk was zero. Then i need to move the U12.

Your question doesn't seem to be specific to your WD2500.
You might get better answers just asking this as a simple question about surface mount soldering.
I know next to nothing about this, but don't you put solder on the pads first, then place the chip, then use hot air?
