can someone point me in the right direction of some software that i can use for this situation?

i need to monitor a kid(or 2;) ) from my main computer in the living room with a webcam running off of the computer in the kid(s) room.

kids computer is running xp and my computer is running vista64.

network is 100% dual band wifi N so video traffic will be no problem at all.

what do you suggest?

Do you already have this webcam? If not, buy one (or more) with built-in webserver. Would be viewable from any computer in the house.

Is it XP Professional? Just use Remote Desktop? When I remote into work and view the cameras I can get 5-10fps, so I think local WiFi would be enough for fluid video.

i have 2 cams. both usb. was hoping to use one of them. dont wanna run remote desktop cause i want it to run all day while i use my computer for other things

msn LOL
or some other chatting program with webcam

I would of said remote desktop to =/
