Hey, i've had this problem for a while now, everytime i move my mouse i have a weird beeping noise, it was gone for a while after i switched my Headset but it came back, now i reinstalled windows a couple of days ago and it was gone, now its back. Does anyone know what could cause this issue?

PC Specs:

i7-4790k
ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer
Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 3X OC
8GB RAM
Onboard Soundcard

What kind of cans? Do they use USB or the 1/8" plug? Have you tried switching ports regardless? What troubleshooting have you done already?

What do you mean by "cans" ? ( not a native english speaker sry )
they're not USB so i guess they're 1/8" i only have 2 more ports at the top of my case and that makes it even louder. not really any troubleshooting because i don't really know what could cause this

In this context, "cans" = headphones. They somewhat resemble two small cans on the sides of your head.

I'm currently using the Steelseries Siberia 200 and was using the v3 before ( i hope you mean that, sry :/ )

To be honest, it sounds like you're getting noise on the ground channel. I've had this issue with onboard sound before. Some motherboards don't have decent separation between the audio ground and the USB ground, it's exactly why I use an external DAC.

i have gotten this b4, iyts from shitty audio, i had it on my extreme 3 Gen 3, sometimes switching audio jacks CAN help, but for me it was solved by switching MoBo's.

A dedicated audio card or USB based audio will solve this.

You can also bypass the issue by using HDMI/DP on your GPU and using the audio that is transferred over that signal. My Dell monitor has an audio output for speakers, it will display the image on the current input and send the audio from the input to that jack so you can plug in speakers directly to your monitor.
This, of course, depends on your monitor and GPU, but I'm pretty sure the 770 is capable of sending audio over HDMI/DP.

Yea i have no idea how that would work.

Which Soundcard would fix that issue ?

I second this as it's extremely cheap, been using the audio jack on my monitors for years.

My Monitor has a Headphone jack ( BenQ XL2411Z) but i guess my Mic won't work then ?

this is the best/cheapest effective solutiion IMO,as long as monitor has HP jack, your golden

So i've tried it and unfortunately nvidia control panel only lists my HDMI Monitor that doesn't have a Headphone Jack. My Main monitor has one but is connected over DVI :/

Could you swap the monitor's connections so that the one with the headphone jack is connected via HDMI and the other is on DVI?

DVI-D, sry
Still didn't think it was possible.
That aside, HDMI uses the same video signals as DVI and is higher bandwidth as well, so you should be able to run 144Hz over HDMI without an issue. I know a lot of newer high-refresh rate monitors don't even have DVI anymore, just HDMI and DisplayPort (DP)

afaik only HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 can run 144hz 1080p right ? i dont know i have one of them

To output 1080p content at 144Hz, you typically use a dual link DVI-D cable or DisplayPort cable. You can also use a HDMI 1.3 or higher cable.

OP - If you are not using Audio through your monitor's speaker, then turn off HDMI Audio device in your Device Manager under Sounds Devices if one exists.
Then disable all HDMI Playback Sound outputs under Control Panel >> Sounds
If you have Realtek Audio, then you likely/maybe have the Realtek HD Audio Manger in your System Tray. You can check open the Sound Manager form there and check to see if there are any weird settings with your MIC sounds, etc.

99 British pennies gets you one of these. You can spend a lot more if you like. Search USB audio adapter
