Ok so I have the picture attached in a zip file, because the picture was too big and I don't have anything that can really edit size correctly. Ignore the IM window, its me talking about this anyways.

So basically its this that comes up talking about Avilable switches. Doesn't even spell avaliable right. I have no idea what its for, or how it happened, or where it came from. No idea how to use the commands for it, or what they are talking about. I was having a problem with the spyware thing cmdservices earlier but I got rid of it. As of right now, including safemode scans, Spybot, Ad-Aware, and Kaspersky AV find nothing. All I can possibly thing of is that I installed something, and it just keeps coming up, or it's part of some regedit I did earlier, which I just realized I can't revert to, or I would have to go through the trouble of killing cmdservices again. So if you have any idea what it is, let me know please. Thanks.

And there are a few more you can remove too if you don't need help for your sound card XF-i or create plug ins.


You speak an asian language?
 
No I don't, but I like to install those when installing Windows. I don't need help with my X-Fi nor do I need to create plug-ins.

I'll restart after fixing those and post a new log.
 
Incidently, in doing that my instant messanging program GAIM no longer works. I can probably just uninstall it and reinstall it. Heres new log, and you fixed the the start up window thing I was getting. Thanks!

"C:\WINDOWS\system32\CTXFIHLP.EXE" Do you want me to go there and delete that? Because I don't see it when im looking at my hijack this, or do you want me to end the process before fixing it?
 
ctxfihlp.exe and ctxfispi.exe are both Creative related.

xcrcoms.exe is the one I can't find any info for which makes me think it's the dodgy one.See what it says in your services concerning this line.

Re arrange the letters and you get fixhlp. Another one of their software feats.


And that device is a lexar interface, potentially a card reader or the like.
 
Yeah I got rid of everything you told me, and everything seems to be honky dory now. Only 23 programs running if I don't have anything but Windows and Kaspersky on, heh. I think thats the best i've ever managed outside of safe mode hehe.
