the new 7950 nvidia card is available.. and the price looks about right compared to sli solutions to sell well.. 411 quid which is about the same as a top end card normally is at release.. cheaper than some..

quite clearly the fastest single card there is.. if two cards joined together can be called a single card..

oh well, if you want to be a pc gamer expect that any hardware you buy will be replaced very often and its a gud idea to have a second windows install just for gaming.

LOL! This is the only way Nvidia can win right now, but we all know ATI is still the king of image quality and X1900 Crossfire will still spank the living crap out of that card even in SLI.

i think ati will do the same as soon as they can.. there is a dual 1600 thing.. i recon this is just the experiment for a dual faster card..

but the important thing is the price.. u are getting sli for the same as what a single card costs.. or did do.. its gonna cause ati some problems till they come up with something similar..

dual core gpu stuff looks like its here to stay.. i dont see any way a single gpu is gonna beat that one..

^True...true, they do have better image quality. Is that why you changed your 7800GT to X1800XT?
