Benchmark Scores My PC can run Crysis. Do I really need more than that?
It's been a very long while since I was educating myself on DDR4 sticks. Now it's time for me to upgrade my gaming PC (it's in system specs). 16 GB RAM I already have will be placed in my secondary PC and I wanna buy a kit of two 16 GB sticks.

The purpose of this upgrade is to make my system more 4K gaming ready. My job doesn't require me to have anything better than a 10 y.o. laptop.

Budget is not a concern, yet I don't wanna waste too much money because next time I upgrade the CPU will happen in 5 to 8 years from now so I'll definitely go DDR5 or maybe 6.

Availability is also not a concern, my aftermarket is really full of offerings and I'm not afraid of buying used stuff.

What I need:

• 32 GB (2 sticks of 16 GB).
• 3200 to 3600 MHz.
• Lowest timings possible considering I don't wanna spend more than 90 United States dollars on that. I can spend more but I don't want to.
• Maximum reliability and stability possible.

What I don't care about:

• RGB.
• Aesthetics.
• Size.

I'm currently in Russia but our market is similar to that of the USA. Will make a move in a month from now when I get my paycheck.

If you can find Team Extreme they have a 32GB kit that is @3600 with 14-15-15-15 timings. The other kit are Gskill 4000 Mhz 32GB kits. Both were pricey and may still be. The fastest RAM comes with ARGB.

Buy literally whatever is cheapest for the lowest latency. Seriously, there is zero difference between DDR4 memory modules nowadays unless you are looking for Samsung B-die.

In terms of longevity, you'd also likely be better served by 64GB of 3200 CL16 than 32GB of 3600@16 or 3600@14, and the prices will be similar.

Dunno if Black Friday exists in RU but prices are unlikely to be better than now.

I doubt that. Today, it's only a couple games where 16 GB ain't enough. When 32 GB will be insufficient my whole system will be insufficient. I'd rather have less latency.
Samsung B-die
Is it still the best option if we don't count price?

Exists as a form of scam. Prices will be better in a month from now, especially if ruble becomes stronger.
@3600 with 14-15-15-15 timings
Sounds tasty. Do you remember the exact model?

It makes every other stick of ram look like a piece of junk with its cheap price and sucky timings :D
So I'm virtually hunting B-dies. What are the best Samsung B-dies fitting my budget?

you would almost be better off building a DDR5 system
That would be 200 dollars at least if I'm using my barter skill to the fullest on the aftermarket. And additional hassle selling my current motherboard or making use of it somewhere else... Nah, don't like it.

Looks like they are hard to find

Hi,
The B for B-die does not stand for Budget lol
90 US this is just hynix land for Bottom $$

But ebay does have some used 3200c14 4x8gb kits but no way 16gb sticks you're dreaming there.

Yeah, I realise that and that's why I stated I can spend more. $90 is just my comfort zone.

I found these two:
F4-4266C19D-32GVK
F4-4000C18D-32GVK

Seems they are solid Hynix options for sane quid ($80 each). Not B-dies but still much faster than what I have now.

C18 would be okay for the frequency.

1.4v to

B-Die alert 3600c14 2x16gb not bad
