Simple question:
What DVD PLAYER software shuud i use? got a dvd writer & i wanna watch dvds on my TFT as its bigger then my tv.
I know theres shit loads but i tried two already & there both pretty awful suggestions pls!?

I use windvd myself, don't have any problems with it. You get it for free with various hardware. I have like 4 originals already :)

First Look here to get a good overview and a download source.

I'm using Power DVD 4.0 because it was shiped with my DVD Drive from LG
Zoomplayer is also a good one and free for Personal use (http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml) Last Personal version!
Winamp with plugin (Vidamp) also for DVD Playback.
Maximus DVD is also nice i've heard but not sure.
Windvd nice also, I used it on my old pc, no problems

Hope it will help more than confuse :o

thx guys decided to go with Power DVD its only a trial & says its a 30 day one. hopefully it will work after 30 days or can simply be reinstalled.

While im here any good dvd burning software?

Nvm found one. DVD-Decrypter for anyone who needs one.

dvd decrypter is great yes, you can also use dvd2one to downsample so large movies fit on a 4.3Gb disk, quality loss isn't noticable usually.

DVDx is nice for making SVCDs and VCD nad DivX (http://www.labdv.com/dvdx)
In some Countrys its Illegal to Use Software wich is abel to Encodes CSS Keys to Copy
Protected DVD's but i will also list (http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html)
Slysoftware's Products, but check first if they are allowed in your Country.

I've forget to mention Nero from Ahead Software wich is Good for Burning anything :)

Gordian Knot can rip movies from DVD, encode it to DivX, XViD, or what you want. Good quality movies in 700MB. But only for backup purposes of course. ;)
