My poor old gtx980ti... I guess I had pulled hard too many times on the #1 dp port, and over time, if I moved my monitor, it would black out and come back on.
Then I tried jiggling the cable at the back of the computer, and it blacked out and reset. Doing this for a long time. So I figured, I'll go buy a new dp cable
that will solve it. Nope. I have 2 monitors, the 980ti only has a single hdmi output and 3 dp outputs. Now, not a single business in my town actually has a dp cable,
don't think they even know what they are! In the process I bought an expensive hdmi cable... don't need to talk about that... forgot my card has only 1 hdmi. Finally I just switched
to my 2nd dp output, and now perfect. I can wiggle the cable, stable. Just the stupidest thing.....
