What is the best memory for a 285k?

I have a asus z890 gaming max wifi7 motherboard and a intel 285k cpu. Right now I have 2x32gb udimms at 6400mhz just using the xmp tweaked profile on my motherboard.

Would it be better to get cudimms at a high mhz rating? I just want the 285k to be running at optimum. Should I get cudimms or just keep the 64gb udimms I have now?

2x16 / 2x24 CL36 8000Mhz or higher depending on your Motherboard's support will let you run that CPU at optimum.

Optimal is the operation under the conditions in which the manufacturer, or in this case, mostly right is called the designer of component - Intel, assumes warranty responsibility. The conditions for this are that there is no overclocking and that there are no other components in the overclocking to which the processor is directly connected, in this case, this is the RAM. Yes, Intel has left the possibility of overclocking its processors with the suffix "K", as well as working with other components with overclocking, easily accessible, but they do not guarantee the condition of their product in such conditions. XMP is also an overclocking profile. So, if you want maximum optimization, memories that are factory-set to 6400MT/s, used without XMP. If you have something else in mind with the term optimal, I obviously did not understand you correctly. Maybe "maximum" is a more appropriate term.

If you need 64GB DRAM then I'd suggest keeping what you have until the single rank 32GB XMP modules become available (several memory makers have started advertising that they're coming). You'll want to have below 9.5ns latency modules at as high speed as you can afford/justify spending.

If you need to know how to get latency from module specs this will do the trick: (1/(<module MHz>/1000))*CL

For 2x32 CUDIMMs will be faster.

What do you guys think of these?

G.SKILL Trident Z5 CK 48GB (2 x 24GB) 288-Pin CUDIMM DDR5 8200 (PC5 65600) Desktop Memory Model F5-8200C4052G24GX2-TZ5CK - Newegg.com

My motherboard only goes up to 8666+MT/S. I checked my motherboards qvl list and those cudimms above work with xmp. So that's good.

Tridents are great they have really good heatsinks which you will need. Corsair vengeance variant with the shiny heatsinks may as well be made of plastic as they are super thin in comparison.

Unless you are you are going to overclock the CPUs Ring and D2D, I don't think it matters greatly what you buy. The CPU has major internal latency problems.

Up the respective voltage for both and off you go.

I would just keep what you have instead of spending money on another kit.
