what is the best memtest software to use ?

I use MemTest64, AIDA64 Extreme's memory stability test and Prime95 with Large FFTs (4096). Works for me and you don 't have to fiddle with bootable drives.

memtest86 works properly and is the current standard.
What do you mean by "better"?
I mean what s the standard today ;)) havent tested in years. Thank you

Thanks, i always want to take out as much as possible os wise so i avoid aida64 for strict memory testing. Was asking to know what s the standard today, havent tested in years. Ty

I always used memtest86+ ... it's the only synthetic tool we recommend using for testing other than the following:

P95 26.6 - used on initial builds to cure TIM cycling the CPU up to 85C or so and then cooling back down to room temperature.
Furmark - used for establishing pump and fan curves on water cooled systems.
