I'm looking for an old workstation (dell optiplex and others) that I can get for under 200 dollars to upgrade it later. I'm looking for one that could fit a 2 slot full-size gpu and a Samsung ssd, that has a decent cpu and that has a 350~400W PSU

Thanks to anyone that could help

Do you want opinions, or are you looking to actually buy one from someone here?

Your biggest issue is that most workstations today use proprietary PSUs, so you're limited on how many connections you have for a GPU. Dell optiplex 3000 series towers can be found, but as for specific models, do you have a price range you are looking in?

Thanks for your reply, i'm looking for opinions. It's fine to me if it doesn't have a power connector. I'm typing to find one around $200

Optiplex 3060 and 3070 minitowers can be had for that price. You could try to find the precision models, but I doubt they'd be cheap. You can put precision power supplies in them for higher wattage applications.

Thanks for the answer, do you know any models that are not small form factors

US dollars? That will get you an old 4790 or 7700 or old Xeon cpu at best and not much else. You can get Dell Precision Tower 3640 Core i9-10900K 32GB RAM 512GB NVMe RX 550 4GB with a 1000watt psu for $600 US on Ebay. I got a Dell 3630 back in the spring, which goes for $400 CDN.

I found a 9020, would you recommend it?
