when updating .net framework 3.5 in Windows 8.1....

Is it possible to copy directly from the contents of the dvd and past in the Windows folder?

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs
Run that on an elevated cmd, change d:\ to the proper dvd or iso drive letter.

I got a reply each time saying the source cant be found.
Am wondering if I can do a manual copy and paste from the sxs folder.
