Where can I find Xig s1283 rubber mounts?

Yesterday I installed my s1283 cpu cooler. The install went fine, except for a problem with the mounts. They were a pain to pull through the fan, and I broke the tips of two of them. I've emailed Xig to request a few extra replacements, but they have not responded. Is there anyplace that sells similar rubber mounts? Please help guys...

Mine were hard to get in as well.. I got mine today and I eventually grabbed some needle nosed pliers and pulled them threw that way. I hope that helps if you do find some, im sure they will send you some tho.

Maybe you could mod some of those...I dont see the exact type, as I know the ends are different!

Yeah that is one thing I do dislike about these coolers I suppose...I have installed my fan a few times...and while I worry about damaging one of them...I have yet to do so. But they should've definately included more of those fan mounts. Hope Xig takes care of ya!

I was actually hoping they would send a set with the screw on mounting bracket thats on its way to me!

If Xig doesn't get back to me, I'll try some of those. The ends on the Xig mounts are wide/thick. I'm not sure whether these would mount secure or not. :confused:

I just went through support at Xig's site and that was the responder with info. Sorry it doesnt seem to work...Maybe try sending a support request of your own?
