trying to get my hands on a gtx 970

preferably an ASUS strix, an MSI twin frozr or a gigabyte G1 (with the 3 fans)
but it's hard to find a website with stocks. any pointers?

Just read your other thread, The parts you have are great parts the i5 seems like a step sideways..while you wait for local retailers to get stock of the newer nvidia cards i would ebay another 670DCII for some cheap sli you have the PSU for it, it wouldn't cost much because the 875 on a sabertooth is awesome

I got confused because the top said 670 while the post said 970 lol.

I would get the Gigabyte G1 970 for the ports and cooling on it if I was picking. As far as availability the best for you maybe amazon and just waiting because they are out of stock everywhere on all models mostly.

I think you may want to correct your thread title.

Another vote here for the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1.

Yup I'd also go for the 970 Gaming G1 from Gigabyte. I'm super happy with my 2, you can hardly hear them spin up under load (even with a moderate OC over the factory OC).

Try buying international if you are desperate. Australia has some stock left because the 9xx series (along with others) are massively overpriced compared to most other countries.

OP just pick one and put it on back order. You will get your card before they ever show as in stock. I chose the MSI Gaming card. It's been on back order for 2 1/2 weeks now. Supposedly Amazon will send me an email when they have some idea when they will get more in but no word yet.

thanks guys... lol indeed, i meant to say 970 and not 670...

my bad. i was in a hurry yesterday and was about to buy the card, that's why I posted this to quickly get a headsup if someone had a suggestions as to where to look for em.

so yeah, most of them gtx 970s are out of stock... which sucks. I'm a big fan of asus graphics cards
