Depends on your preferences mostly...
'Best' is leave at default and tweak through ingame settings. Most games automatically push a pre-generated setting for each GPU that should provide playable FPS.
If you care about responsiveness, Vsync OFF in NVCP, it will reduce input lag but introduces screen tear. Beyond that its about tiny details that won't really matter or impact the 960M in a meaningful way. If you want magic bullets to improve FPS: lower resolution / lower ingame graphics settings. Its always a tradeoff.

If you really don't know, you should install GeForce Experience. That will set some decent defaults for you.Hi to all,
I would like to know which are the best settings for NBA 2K18 in Nvidia Control Panel?
My GPU is Nvidia GTX 960M!
Please tell me!
Thanks to all in advance!
Best regards!
If you really don't know, you should install GeForce Experience. That will set some decent defaults for you.
Though you probably installed the driver by clicking next, next, next and you already have GeForce Experience in place.
Also, no, settings are not universal. Instead of "insisting" you should be "reading" and "catching up"![]()

I think it's best not to mess with stuff he doesn't understand. After all, the drivers come with application profiles for pretty much everything, so if a setting will benefit a title more, it's probably already configured as such. Many of the settings in NVCP are 'defined by application' on default, so they are controlled from within the game settings anyway. Those that are not are already defaulted to optimal in terms of performance. Beyond that, all tweaks are very specific and serve to either improve image quality at the cost of FPS, or to work in tandem with other specific hardware or software. A good example of that is 'Vsync' which should be combined with 'Triple Buffering' when it is on, from the control panel.
The best way to learn what settings do is by trying it for yourself, this way you get a feel for the performance cost and whether its worth it to you.

Sure there are. Go to the control panel and move the slider all the way to "high performance" and you're done.As far as I know, there are performance tweaks for many games like setting of the program settings for those games in Nvidia Control Panel!
Wow thank you sooo much dear DRDNA!
You are my hero!

Reading this, its nothing special and I think similar to what @DRDNA posted earlier. I also doubt this will noticeably improve FPS to be fair.
If your performance is abysmal, the main reason is going to be the GPU, a 960M really isn't much to write home about![]()
