Hello everyone, i have the MSI B550mag bazooka, i want to install 990 samsung pro gen 4 1TB on the lightning gen 2 M2 slot, and the samsung 980 EVO gen3 500GB on the secondary M2 slot.
The question is will the samsung 990 PRO be slowed down ?

My other question is, will it also slow down my 6750xt ? Does the ssd slots share bandwidth the GPU slot ?

Here is the link to motherboard specification, i cant tell the outcome even though the data is listed here. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550M-BAZOOKA/Specification

The PCIe lanes to PCIe 16_1 and top M.2 Gen4 comes from CPU, independent from the 2nd M.2 Gen3 that has his lanes from PCH.
The rest its all dependent on the AMD processor chosen, generation and his lanes.

EDIT: Enough, its a Gen4 CPU with 20 PCIe lanes
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Specs | TechPowerUp CPU Database

You shouldn't see any performance lost with the 2 Gen4 devices 16 lanes to GPU and 4 lanes to the Gen4 NVMe...
Of course if you are a "perfectionist" you can do some benchmarks with or without populating the Gen4 MVMe... but then what? You loose a storage device?
The really issue is the correct Gen of hw so you seem ok in this.
