Last Saturday I got BSOD regarding memory management I got this fixed by uninstalling my Intel Chipset driver in Windows 10 Pro w/ Anniversary 64bit.

I hope someone can help me figure out why desktop only does around 70-100mbit with KIS2017 turned off but my Lenovo laptop with KIS2017 and my Intel ComputeStick with 360 Total Security on wifi both runs around 100-110mbit on the same speedtest server as my desktop that only does around 70-100mbit with KIS2017 turned off.

My ISP uses a Netgear C6250EMR that I have configured to "bridge mode" which is fine with them, and than I use my Asus RT-AC66U.

I been looking at changing out my Asus Z170I Pro Gaming out with a MSI Z170I Gaming Pro AC to see if that would fix my problem.
 
Is there maybe a newer version of the chipset driver you could try? Maybe an older one? Tried running memtest86+ to verify the RAM is working okay?

I installed the newest from intel.com after I removed it and booted into Windows 10.
I will try memtest86+ and I will try Windows 10's own Windows Memory Diagnostic too.

Yeh and i set it to like 8gb or so bcs Windows 10 keep bugging me I had high memory usage gaming Dishonored 2.

Page file is actually set to 1024mb I remembered wrong and I have now attached a memtest86+ that has passed with no errors.

1. Try a local transfer. Copy a file to another PC on the network and see what speed you get.

2. Reinstall the driver, see if the result changes.

How many BSOD did you get? It's possible something just became wonky for some unknown reason. Maybe reinstalling the driver is all you need. My graphics card driver was just recently crashing my PC; I installed the latest drivers and so far no issue.

I had this one only, so it might be a Windows thing or smth but my internet speed on speedtest is kinda oki again after I got the coax plug on the wall changed, but I am in dialog with Kaspersky bcs I been testing all it's modules.

If i activate:
File and Web Anti-Virus speeds are around 112-113/29.01-29.04 Mbps on speedtest but the moment I activate Firewall it drops down to like 89.81-94.24/28.98-29.00 Mbps and then when Network Attack Blocker comes it drops all the way down to 83.39-84.55/28.95-29.12 Mbps but the funky thing is that my upload speed keeps sable around 28-29Mbps only download going down a lot.


I have tried the newest Intel driver for my I219-V but I had to downgrade bcs my speedtests got bad.
 
hmm I think I am going instead here did a fresh installation of Windows 8.1 Pro upgraded to Windows 10 Pro Anniversary and everything was fine, I had KIS2017 running with good internet speeds even on vpn, then I went to bed this morning I wake up my pc had rebooted bcs of Windows 10 Updates and it was in sleep mode (forgot to turn that off).

Now when I test my internet on vpn only do around 60-70Mbps in download and 15.78 Mbps in upload srsly is there some Windows 10 updates f****** with me here? o_O

Lucky for me I this time did some system restore points and I restored back to before Windows 10 updated, disabled Windows update and now everything runs smooth again so I think there is some bull**** on windows update that causes my system or kis2017 to limit my internet over vpn and gives me funky speed.

So now I am gonna do some more system restore points in the couple of days, clone this installation back to my Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD from this Intel 530 480GB SSD and have this laying around as a backup when it's has all the applications I want installed.
