So I started to install windows 10 last night and left it to install for almost 7 hours. Meanwhile, my main monitor would turn on and off seemingly looking for an input signal. (I imagine this is normal?). However, my power then cut out and now that I've turned my PC back on, it's been doing the same thing for the past two hours.
What should I do?

Thanks

What does it say it is doing?

Was this a clean install of 10, or the free "upgrade" from 7?

If you had a power outage during installation then it is very well possible your install got screwed and you need to start from scratch. Which means: fresh from disc or USB stick.

Ruh roh. I'd plug the HDD into another computer, retrieve the data, install windows 7, then force windows 10 upgrade. The power loss during the upgrade most likely ruined the upgrade process.
