Windows 10 Tweak script, for tinkering

It's a huge script for tweaking windows, however, results may be unpleasant, and modding is required.
You can copy it into a text file, change extensions of the text file into cmd or bat and run it with administrator privileges.
I have modded it and attached some other scripts I found elsewhere, and I am attaching the result here.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT run the script without doing a system restore point first, as you may not like the results.
To run mine, unpack it, right click it and click on run as administrator.
Do not run this on administrator account, as you will take ownership of it, and you will be unable to select run as administrator afterwards.
Run it on your normal account, if you wish.
Prior to running it, I suggest at least a visual inspection of the code. You can place letters "rem" in front of the line you don't want executed.

Thanks...but... is there an explanation of exactly what this does? What is it tweaking? Is windows faster after? Got benchmarks? What is this?

No offense, but, is there any reason I should trust some random new forum user and DL a file that is supposed to tweak windows without any details? I'll pass until some light is shed on this 'tweak'...please understand.

It has security, privacy and looks tweaks...a tonne of them, all in one place. I did not even know some of these existed. It's for tinkerers, I guess. I don't use it myself.

...and we're supposed to just use this? And you didnt even use or seemingly try it ?? Where did you get this from? Got a link to the source at least?

Ok I guess. There is no actual NEED to run it, and there are some 3rd party apps which, combined, give the same result. If you aren't worried about security, privacy or speed of your pc, you don't have to touch it at all.

I am concerned about those things... which is why I wont willy nilly DL a script some random new forum user puts on a website with little explanation. Chances are its fine.. but with such little explanation or sourcing, I'm sure you can understand the concern.

Security starts with the person clicking.

Or... rather than replying with such nonsense, you could explain what the script does AND what you've added/removed from Windows with this mod of yours?


If not, I see it fitting for a mod to remove this thread. We (the community as a whole) have no clear understanding of whats inside this file and I doubt any sane-minded person would be willing to download such a file without a comprehensive list of its contents or intentions once implemented.

There are remarks next to everything inside the script. You can open it and read what everything does. The list is huge.
If I knew I'd get this kind of critics, I wouldn't have posted it. Delete it if you wish.

You dont understand why we are apprehensive? Friend, you gave us little information. No results...nada. just...'run this script on your windows for improved security stability and performance'... and 'I dont use it' (yet you ADDED scripts to it?!?!?!).

Do I need to send you $50 and you'll wire millions to me?

As I said, I'm sure its ok... but the lack of information is giant red flag to me.
