Windows 2000 with no PS2 connectors??

I have the Intel DG33TL and it doesn't come with any PS2 connectors on it. I have a PS2 to USB adapter and a USB keyboard but I'm not able to get Windows 2000 to install with either of these setups.
At the time of purchase I wasn't aware it didn't have any PS2 ports or Intel was claiming Windows XP and newer.
Any thoughts?

Might be an option in t'BIOS to set USB mouse and USB keyboard support. I find it usually helps, when running older programs out of XP, or trying to get into setups for Linux, XP, Vista, etc.

No options in bios, checked there. Thanks for the thought.
Got the latest SP slipstreamed?
Hadn't done that, I think the install was a SP2 install. The devices work fine till it gets to the first Next option and if I don't hit it instantly they seem to be disabled. If I do then it sits on the "Installing device drivers"... mouse, keyboard, etc. With a greyed out install bar.

Just an FYI this is what I'm using as my PS2 to USB adapter (click the picture/link).

Your mobo with Viiv Technology, probably only supports Windows XP or higher OS.

Yeah, I found that when I went to look for additional drivers. Unfortunately the box doesn't say anything about what operating system is required.
We chose this board for our system upgrades, about 20 systems and half of them are still 2K systems. So now I'm trying to find a workaround or if they are just claiming this because Microsoft isn't supporting 2K anymore.

From my understanding the BIOS would have to be rewriten in order for the Viiv to support Win2K. I don't think they are going to invest the money in that.

Edit; Just found this. Not sure as to wether or not it works though.
Load Win2K with a USB keyboard. then you have to add the necessary drivers for PS/2. Using this utility can help remove the Viiv components at startup and allow the ps/2 keyboard to function normally.

More info on running Win 2K with Viiv Here.

Ok, I've slipstreamed SP4 and unattended install on a disc and tried installing, still no luck. Keeps hanging up on the:
Installing Devices
......Setup is detecting and installing devices on your computer.

Please wait while Setup detects and installs devices such as your keyboard and mouse. This will take several minutes. During this time, your screen may flicker for a few seconds.
