Hello Everyone, just wondering what your thoughts are on this process i just noticed that has been eating up lots of CPU time for no reason. Its called the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, i certainly do not use WMP (who does?) especially for sharing my libraries across the network.

I am about to disable the service completely and see if that will make it stop. Just seems weird that this would be running when i never even use WMP. Anyone?:banghead:

Stop the service. Set it to manual.
Others have reported a problem with this. one person stated the only way he fixed it was a complete reformat and reinstall of Win7.
Not worth the time. Just nuke it.
