Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation

Soon after I installed the newest nvidia driver, (536.99,) I started losing audio. After looking into it, I think that's just coincidence as I can't find any relating literature linking the issue to this process. I'm still putting it out there in case maybe someone else has had a connection. Anyway, I keep losing my audio. It drops out at times with no rhyme or reason. It could last 5 hours or could last 5 mins. It could last 5 seconds. I can't make any sense of it. At first, I was restarting my pc entirely after looking into settings and not finding anything wrong. After a couple times of doing that, I looked into processes. I tried to restart the windows audio device graph isolation process. The only option was to end the task. It seems that effectively just restarts it as it doesn't disappear at all, and the audio comes back. Does anyone have a solution for this? It's driving me nuts.
