Windows did not start successfully

I didn't see any forum for Windows, so it's here:
It was working fine an hour ago, the GPU was too hot so I turned the computer off (It was still working completely fine, no performance decrease or anything). I turned it back on 20 minutes later and got this nonsense about Windows XP not starting successfully. Safe mode, normal, and previous settings, none of the boots work. I tried repairing Windows, but it is not recognizing my install of Windows, instead it skips straight to asking if I want to overwrite everything on my hard drive to install Windows.
 
Pop in the Windows XP CD and boot to the Recovery Console.

Login to the C:\Windows with your Administrator Password

type Chkdsk /f


When it's finished.. Type exit.


Should fix your problem.
