Feel this is a dumb question but...
In task manager, sometimes processes have a * asterisk at the end.
I understand that occasionally using a 64bit OS you'll find a process*32 indicating it's running a 32 bit module or version of that program/process.
However I've also seen process* with no indication of 32bit.
I'm told this means the same thing, but isn't showing the "32"
Why would it show 32 sometimes and not others(sans any virii issues)
Might it have something to do with permissions/users?
At work one of the stations in our group has NO * at the end, and several others have asterisks yet they have similar processes running on the same OS clones.
