This is not only weird and mindboggling, but it frustrates me to no end. :banghead: When i go to the appearance tab, ALL 3 of the dropdown menu's are disabled. Can this be fixed short of reinstalling windows? Does anyone need more information?

Couple questions:

1.) Are you logged on as an ADMINISTRATOR level user (I say this, because their being disabled appears to be something 'designed to protect you' etc. like group policies or limited user restricted logons give a user) because iirc, most XP users aren't logged on as such, & get some limitation.

&

2.) What version of Windows XP is this? Home?? The latter??? I know absolutely ZERO about, because I have never used it personally & don't like commenting about OS' I have not tried myself, hands-on!

:)

* Thanks for the info. & hope it helps you out some...

APK

New install or old install that just started doing this?

Did you install themes in the first place?

IIRC, it can be an option of somekind in XP... Me?? I never EVER used them even when I ran XP...

APK

P.S.=> See if you can ADD themes first... from the install CD (Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, Add/Remove Windows Components maybe, or try add 3rd party created XP themes first...)... apk
