i wonder if this is good adapter
 
I've yet to use a USB networking device that worked satisfactory.
A lot of the time driver support is terrible, the PCI adaptor seem to work great out of the box.
At least that netgear one you linked to is supposed to work in Vista.
 
It's a good adapter, my friend had one (and still does), it works under XP, Vista, and 7
 
i don't try this before but im try other netgear product they are great
