^That's because obviously he has the GOG version, not the Steam version.

Right click on it in GOG Galaxy -> Manage Installation -> Verify Repair

here you go

That's GOG Galaxy version. If you have downloaded it from GOG Galaxy, it probably needs those files to work. Re-install the GOG Galaxy client. Or use Verify function as suggested above if you already have it installed.

Even if not using galaxy, the galaxy.dll is in the files.

But Rejzor is right on the money. All you need to do is download game files and install again, whether using Galaxy or playing from the desktop.

it was trying to reinstall the whole game just because i acvidently deleted these two files. this is reason of my request. thanks again :)

I'm glad you're up and running but with the time you posted, waited and finally had the files posted, you could have done a redownload and install.

or just extract the 1.5mb dlls

GOG doesn't do repair installs
its complete re-install or nothing

I kniw this. It takes 15 minutes to redownload the game. And as a desktop player (not using Galaxy), you actually can reinstall over the old one and fix it.

And, even if he chose not to do that, his save game and settings still would have been in place had he uninstalled it and then installed anew.

Anyway, its why all 140 GOG games I have are stored on a storage drive. Saves downloading again. :-) There are alot fewer problems when you don't use Galaxy.

He may be in a bandwidth constrained ISP. Or a datacap. We don't really know.

with gigabit fiber maby
the witcher 3 is 50GB

Another good reason for storing the install files on their larger games.

Was gonna say the same thing. Even with 150Mb fiber it takes me the better part of an hour to download 50GB.

I'd certainly advise that the next time he downloads it. This may be a "I didn't think ahead" thing is my point.

Yep, and perhaps I could have phrased better. I'm really referring to the futire. Teach a man to fish... :-)

Yeah, I know it's not 15 minutes. It's an hour. Apparently I'm the first person ever to exaggerate time to make a point. SMH

That's not true. GOG Galaxy supports incremental file verification and download. You can even import existing installation of a game to Galaxy client and then do verification. It'll download a bit more, but nowhere near entire game. Mostly just support files that are needed for a stand alone GOG game to work with Galaxy client.

im living in turkey and i dont have fiber yet. so internet provider gaves me 800KB speed also if i download more then 75gb in a month my speed gets down to 300KB.

It's more about where you live than needing to be "taught to fish". Some are spoiled by high speed, low priced internet, while the rest of us get by on considerably less. It doesn't make it any easier to take when we're treated like we aren't getting it, when clearly we aren't, except in the form of decent speeds and prices, rather than "a clue".

So please, think before you speak, and don't assume everyone has the luxuries you do.

I believe he was referring to me, since I'm the one who said just download the whole thing. :)

Jeez, I thought it was obvious I was siding with you as another one of those without the luxury of high speed, low priced internet.

Excuse me for trying to speak in your defense. Maybe learn how to interpret English properly before posting on English speaking forums.
