Benchmark Scores Who cares

I feel like the way he presented the arguments detracts from it in such a way that I dismiss his arguments. What an absolutely awful presentation of information.

Gutmann is also... an interesting source of information. In that he's intelligent but also almost all of his noteworthy achievements are mired in some type of controversy, be it flawed logic or just claims that were disproven with simple tests.

tldr, don't use that link if you expect to be taken seriously.

imean, he is being rather edgy about it yes, but fundamentally speaking his arguments are sound - schrodinger's all but made sure of that. move along.

his main argument also checks out - instead of wasting time chasing after things that are very likely all but guaranteed to be busts (ie: quantum computing) we're fucking wasting a shitton of resources that could've been spent on something more useful (and more boring) instead.
