Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
i noticed that my Kingston HyperX Fury CL10 1600 (1600 10-10-10-30) is running 4-5-5-15 am i missing something or it's probably a reading error from CPU-Z

Try a different tool for getting your timings. I suspect that CPU-Z is just bugging out. If you have AIDA, that can tell you.

Out of curiosity, what does the SPD tab say? Does it recognize the default timings?

SPD tab just list the JEDEC timing tables.

AIDA: roger that i try it.
@ 800 MHz 11-10-10-30 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 39-208-5-12-6-6-24 (RC-RFC-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW)

@ 479 MHz 6-6-6-18 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 24-125-3-8-4-4-15 (RC-RFC-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW)

hum it also list the JEDEC timing table i don't see a "actual reading" of the current timings but i have only access to the trial version i check something else.

HWinfo64 states the same

Nice, it's really at 1600mhz @ 4-5-5-15 according to those pics!!
(y)
but then I see you're only with one stick, add another one to enable extra performance from dual channel

1% is extra yep, its planned to go dual chan later, i just took 1x8gb instead of 2x4gb so on the next month i will be at 2x8gb. (well 2 weeks and 6 days to wait now)

it was a cost versus capacity/number of stick calculation

Hyper X Fury overclocks itself.

it's a 1600 no OC ... unless timing variance is considered as a OC?

i mean only the timings vary and out of any logical parameter, the frequencie remain same.

That's got to be the fastest 1600 DDR3 stick: CL4 ...

Submit it to HWBot?

CL4 out of a 1600Mhz kit I call BS
run maxmem

yep pretty much what i thought tho i didn't know Maxmem

both CPU-Z and HWiNFO actualized to the right parameters :D not that i am happy with a CL10 ram but it was just so weird to have DDR 400 DDR2 800 timing on a DDR3 Stick

its probably reading the timing wrong since you have only one stick your timings are exactly haf of what they should be

ahhh i see well it will be better once i get the 2nd stick

The motherboard reports the memory speed, update your BIOS as I suspect it's a BIOS glitch as it reads the memory SPDs correctly. Reset the CMOS if there isn't an update, an update should do this automatically. The latest for that board should be v.1708.

Asus downloads page for the M5A99X Evo

oh no worries that M5A99X Evo has little time left before getting to another home.

and the actual BIOS in it is the 1708 :D

and also

case already solved, in a certain manner :D

Eh CL10 vs CL9 you won't tell a difference. If its like my Hyper X Black you can overclock it a ton. I can do 2200 11-11-11-33 1T from default 1333 C9 or 1600 C10.

I don't leave it there because I don't like overvolting my IMC. But I can get there benchmark stable with only 1.55-1.6 volts.

yep i know that, well i had some G.Skills ARES 2133 11-11-11-31 before.
