Hy,

I have a x1950xtx, i can overclock with default ati control center without probs, but only to 700mhz/1000mhz max that ist very little.

With ati toll i cant overclock, if i start "find max mem or core" and ati tool push only +1mhz and my pc freze or restart.
i test 25b16pre5 and more but i have with all the same prob.

I am not noob with ati tool!!! i use this programm over 2 years with some grafikkards without probs, this ist first time.
i hope you can fix the problem.

I have to disable the two services in order to get atitool.exe to work with my crossfire set up.I also have to raise the gpu voltages to 1.45 in atitool.exe and if I remember correctly find automatic clocks does not raise the voltage to 3d volts...I am also using 6.10 ccc.

i've have always had the LOCK UP issue with atitool and atitooltray.(4 diff ati cards)...never found out why it does that when it reaches too high of a clock, but im sure others have had it happen to them as well...just reboot and lower your clock from whatever clock it read before the screen froze up....good luck :rockout:
