Hi,

I've been running ATITool for a while now, and just updated to 0.24 through the software.

Im currently running a x800pro (still on the old AGP) and i've never been that interested in clocking up my system, but what with BF2 demanding every ounce I used the tool to nudge it up a little, always going about 10-15mhz lower than what seemed manageable... im not interested in cooking, i just want to squeeeze a little hehe.

I noticed before updating i'd been running 513/495 (default 475/450) and then running ATITool to see if i could ramp the memory up a bit it went all the way to 610 before getting minor artifacts. I clocked it down to 591.00 and saved that.

But as i was doing this i noticed on my 2nd monitor on TomsHardware there interactive chart had the x800XL as 398/986!!
The Oct 04 GFX review says this about the card:
Radeon X800 Pro ATI R420 DX 9.0b 475 900 256-bit 12x1

I suppose its possibly explainable, but why the heck is my default memory setting half what the card supposedly runs at?? Is the memory clock speed shared over 2 banks or something, therefor each is running at 450 and that gets classed as 900, or is there something just a tad bit f**ked up!!

Im hoping to ditch it in a couple of weeks and get one of the x1900's but the x800 will still be found a loving home, so i'd still be looking to get the best from her eitherway.
btw, slapping it all the way upto about 800mhz manually wasnt appreciated by my computer either, though im that wont suprise most of you ;) Ooooh pretty patterns! :pimp:

you multiply your memory x2 for the actual speed
