XFX Radeon HD 6970 Black Edition BIOS

Hello!

Will somebody be so kind and send me a copy of this card BIOS. There is no copy of this VGA card BIOS in database! Please help!

Kinda surprised it not being there, how ever why would you want to flash to it ?.. JUst use CCC and up the clocks and you done without any risk unless your card cannot handle it.

Hmm, i`m also surprised it`s not being there. There is 3 types of 6970 based cards made by XFX, but no Black Edition. Now, to your question. I won`t "pure" BIOS, and i don`t use CCC. Main reason i don`t use CCC is Linux as my primary choice of OS. So. If You can help me, or know where i can find this BIOS, this would be much help to me. But, thanks just for showing the interest .

Hmm, yes. I have tried this and it seems that there is some kind of problems with BIOS file internal hush check when it is saved by RBE. When i edit BIOS, everything seems to be OK. But, when i flash edited BIOS inside given VGA card flash chip, during first boot, black screen! So, it`s seems to me, from practical experience, that original XFX Radeon HD 6970 Black Edition VGA card is the way to go. Anyhow, do You have this BIOS or this kind of card to make me a backup from CPU-Z and send me or maybe know somebody? Uh! Thanks!

Mines not the black, to me it was not worth the extra cost as the changes could be done in CCC in my case.

Mines defaulted at 880\1375 although i run it at 940\1450 +10% without issue.

Sadly i have not seen the black bios anywhere ..

I looked at it but it don't tell you the setting of the bios although the CRC and size is different than mine which could be just nothing ..

Nope! There is nothing except flashing tools, but my card is originally 6970 so i have no need for this kind of tools. Yes, this is one of the defaults XFX cards, You have. Black Edition card have GPU at 925 MHz, and MEM at 1425 MHz as stock values! If You have BIOS which have this as stock values, then this is it! Once again, thank you so much for your time!
