Portable projectors specialist XGIMI brought several new innovations to the 2024 International CES. First up, is the Horizon Max, which the company claims is the world's first portable IMAX smart projector. This is an official IMAX licensed product, featuring a high-intensity dual lamp light source. The Horizon Max projects in the 1.9:1 and 1.43:1 aspect ratios, and is suitable for 100-inch screens, making it fit for home-theater setups, if you can find screens in this aspect ratio.

Next up, is the XGIMI Alladin. This thing looks like a downlight and a vacuum robot had a baby, but is actually a projector that you ceiling-mount in a room. It doubles up as a downlight, a Full HD smart projector capable of 100-inch screens across 8 ft, and a fairly powerful integrated speaker system that's backed with some clever spatial audio DSPs to give you the feel of surround sound.

This is actually pretty cool

yeah, FHD is lotsa fun with 100in@8ft, maybe for mdeia/presentation, but then you wont need surround sound.
they clearly got into the edibles :D

They got it wrong... Aladdin should have been disguised as a carpet not a lamp... imho
