Hey guys, I installed Vista the night before last, but it already crashed. When I boot from the DVD and choose install, it just tries to boot to my Vista partition instead!? I just reformatted and got rid of it, but how do I get rid of the Vista boot loader? I'm still debating re-installing it, but I haven't made a final decision yet. Also, does anyone know where to find the Crossfire 3200 chipset drivers for Vista? They're not listed on the ECS site for my mobo, and I couldn't find them at AMD.

Well, I just decided to reinstall. But if anyone still knows the answers to my above questions(for future reference), please feel free to answer.

To write over the Vista boot loader with the standard XP one, you stick the XP install disk into your pc, go to recovery mode and type "fixmbr" to restore the master boot record.

Thanx Oliver, I hadn't thought of that. Will try next time I kill Vista. (Probably tomorrow. lol)
